Over The Rainbow is York's only LGBT+ café, open 7 days a week in the centre of the city. We are a sober, neurodivergent friendly space.
The café always has books, boardgames, craft supplies and fidget toys available free of charge, and we also host a community clothing rail for folks to find, swap or donate clothes!
We serve gluten free and vegan options, and we don't charge extra for alternative milks.
We don't have a set menu, but are generally offering a mixture of coffees, teas, milkshakes and soft drinks, alongside toasties, cakes and other sweet snacks.
Pay-it-forward
The café runs a pay-it-forward scheme for food and drinks, so that everyone can pick something up no matter their finances.
